Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Hot Live processes when you use our livestreaming services, how it is used, and how to make privacy requests.

Last updated: October 28, 2026

1. Information We Collect

The information involved depends on which features you use. It may include:

  • Account and profile details: an identifier provided by your sign-in provider (such as Google), your name, email address, username, profile photo, and profile information you choose to provide.
  • Livestream and public activity: live-session details, broadcasts or associated content you share, public comments, reactions, profile information, and records needed to operate viewer interactions.
  • Private communications: information necessary to deliver messages, such as sender and recipient identifiers, conversation identifiers, timestamps, and delivery information. Message-content handling depends on the messaging mode and encryption described below.
  • Safety and support: reports, the content and supporting information you submit with them, moderation decisions, and correspondence with our support team.
  • Technical data: IP address, device or app information, connection and diagnostic logs, and security-related activity needed to run and protect the service.
  • Optional digital features: if coins, gifts, or other paid features are offered to you, information needed to display balances, record transactions, and handle applicable payment or refund requests.

2. How We Use Information

  • To sign you in, manage your account, and display the profile information you choose to share.
  • To provide livestreams, public comments, private communications, and real-time interactions.
  • To process optional coin or gift activities where those features are available.
  • To investigate reports, limit abuse, protect accounts, and maintain the reliability and security of Hot Live.
  • To respond to support requests, provide service-related updates, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

3. Visibility, Sharing, and Personal Information

Information you place in public parts of Hot Live, including your public profile, livestreams, and public comments, may be visible to other people, including visitors without an account where that access is supported.

Information you choose to disclose: Think carefully before sharing personal details, precise locations, contact information, documents, personal routines, or other sensitive material. Information may also be inferred from the environment visible or audible in a live broadcast. Viewers or recipients may copy, retain, or share what they see or receive, including through means outside our control. Removing content from Hot Live does not ensure that copies held by others disappear.

Other people's information: Avoid sharing identifying details about another person without an appropriate lawful basis or permission. Our Terms of Service prohibit misuse of private information and other harmful behavior.

Service partners: We may use providers for sign-in, hosting, livestream delivery, notifications, or payment processing where those features use them. They receive information needed to perform their services.

Safety and legal matters: We may process reports and relevant records to assess concerns, protect people and the service, resolve disputes, and comply with applicable law. We may disclose information to competent authorities when lawfully required or otherwise permitted by law.

Business changes: A lawful transfer of business operations may involve associated information, subject to applicable requirements. We do not sell personal information to data brokers or advertising purchasers.

4. Sign-in and Local Storage

Hot Live may store sign-in tokens, session information, and preferences on your device to keep you authenticated and operate the service. The website may use essential cookies or similar storage if needed for these functions. You can sign out and use your device or browser settings to manage available storage controls; disabling essential storage can affect sign-in.

5. Messages and Encryption

Private conversations that use end-to-end encryption (E2EE) are designed to keep message content readable by the intended participants rather than Hot Live during ordinary operation. Encryption availability and behavior depend on the messaging feature and client version. E2EE for private messages does not apply to livestreams, public comments, report submissions, or communication metadata.

Even where messaging is encrypted, the other participant may save or independently disclose information that you send. Avoid sending confidential or sensitive details unless you are comfortable with the risks of sharing them with that person. We may process account identifiers, timestamps, and delivery information needed to operate the service. If you submit message content directly to support or include it in a report, we can review the content you provide.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep account, activity, and technical information for as long as necessary to operate and secure the service and meet applicable obligations. Categories of information may have different retention periods. Reports, moderation records, and other relevant records may be retained where reasonably needed for safety investigations, disputes, fraud prevention, or legal compliance, subject to applicable law and appropriate safeguards.

We do not promise to have a recording of every livestream or to retrieve recordings captured by third parties. To request deletion of your account or associated personal data, email [email protected] from the registered address when possible. We may verify account ownership. Removal from active systems and backups can take different amounts of time, and certain information may be retained when legally necessary.

7. Your Choices and Privacy Requests

  • Access and correction: You may request access to personal information we hold about you or ask us to correct inaccurate details, subject to applicable procedures and law.
  • Deletion: You may request deletion of your account or associated data, subject to verification and legally permitted or required retention.
  • Information you share: Consider carefully what you make public and what you send to others. If someone discloses personal information about you without permission, contact us with the relevant link, account name, and approximate time. We can assess content within Hot Live's control but cannot directly remove copies hosted elsewhere.
  • Notifications: Use available device or app settings to manage notifications.

Send privacy requests to [email protected]. Do not attach unnecessary sensitive materials to an initial report. Rights and response procedures depend on applicable law.

8. Age Requirement

Hot Live is intended only for people aged 18 or older. Anyone under 18 must not register for or use the service. We do not intentionally provide accounts to minors. If you believe a person under 18 has submitted personal information or is using an account, contact us so we can assess and take appropriate action.

9. Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect account and service information, including access controls and secure communication methods where supported. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. E2EE protection applies only to features that support it, as described above.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app, its features, or legal requirements change. We will publish the updated version here, including its effective date, and provide additional notice when appropriate or required by law.
